Steps to blur the background in PicsArt:
Step 1: Open your image in PicsArt. To do that click on the add icon (+) and choose “edit a photo”. Now, select the photo in which you want to blur out the background.
Step 2: Once you have opened the image in picsArt, Go to ” Effects”. There you’ll find many blur types, just click on the first blur option and set the blur value according to your need. I’m going to set it to 7.
You’ll see the blur is applied to the overall image. We don’t want that, we will mask it out from the subject to look natural.
Step 3: Go to the eraser tool on the top, and click on the inverse.
Step 4: Tap on the restore option and set the brush properties accordingly. Then after, start brushing the area which you want to blur out.
You should keep in mind to use the brush slowly near the depth of the hair and detailed parts.
